U15 Girls basketball team win their first match 8-7!

In a closely fought match against Presentation CC on Thursday, 27th January our 1st and 2nd Year girls won 8-7! This was their first match ever - the photograph captures the joy!

Junior and Senior Irish Debating teams make it to Regionals in Gael Linn Díospóireachtaí

Comhghairdeas! Last Wednesday 26th January our Senior and Junior Irish debaters performed brilliantly and both groups secured a spot in the next round of the Comórtas Díospóireachta an Phiarsaigh.

Drop Everything and Read - Books are back!

Isn't it wonderful that we can pick up books again in school as Covid public health guidelines are being relaxed? Form Tutors will be actively encouraging students to Drop Everything and Read at least once a week at tutor time.

2nd Year student competes in Holywood Music Festival

Congratulations to 2nd Year student Joseph Mudrak who competed in the Holywood Music Festival in Belfast on 25th January.

Under 15 Boys Football team qualify to next round of League!

Luke Higgins (TY), reports from the sidelines. On January 19, the Stratford U15 boys' team played a crucial match against Tallaght-based side Coláiste de hÍde at our home ground Brickfield Park. Stratford had attained four points from an unbeaten start to their U15 campaign but were required to earn an additional point [Draw] to secure knockout stage qualification.

5th Year Computer Science student wins two awards at BTYSTE 2022 for his advanced quantum computing project!

Massive congratulations to Ayush Tambde, 5th Year Computer Science student, for winning two awards (for a second year in a row!) at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2022 with his project called "A System For The Development And Execution Of Hybrid Classical/Quantum Tasks".

TY's organise an innovative online End-of-Term Winter Quiz!

Last day of of the winter term? Well it has to be the end-of-term quiz! For a second year running it was run online and organised so brilliantly by the TY's. Not only was it a quiz (6 rounds of 10 questions), but it was highly entertaining and technically brilliant!
